Arrival at Rajkot & Somnath
Arrive at Rajkot and drive to Somnath (200km). Check into sea-facing accommodation. Visit the Somnath Temple complex in the evening for the Sound and Light Show that narrates the temple's epic history of destruction and resurrection. Watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea from the temple — the view with no land between you and Antarctica is awe-inspiring. Cultural learning: The flag atop the temple is changed three times daily; it is believed to be visible from 10km away.

Visit the nearby Triveni Sangam where three rivers (Hiran, Kapila, and Saraswati) meet the Arabian Sea. Afternoon: Drive along the Gujarat coast to Dwarka, passing through Porbandar (Mahatma Gandhi's birthplace). Reach Dwarka by evening.

Dwarkadhish Temple & Bet Dwarka
Early morning darshan at the Dwarkadhish Temple (Jagat Mandir) — one of the Char Dham temples. The 43m tall shikhara and the 56 steps leading from the Gomti River create a majestic sight. The black stone idol of Lord Krishna stands magnificently in the sanctum. Take a boat to Bet Dwarka island, believed to be the actual residence of Krishna. Visit the Rukmini Devi Temple with its exquisite carved marble exterior. Evening: Attend the Sandhya Aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple as thousands of lamps light up the riverside.

Nageshwar Jyotirlinga & Gopi Talav
Drive to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga (18km from Dwarka), where a 25m tall statue of Shiva rises dramatically against the sky. This is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, representing Shiva as the Lord of the Nagas (serpents). Visit Gopi Talav — the sacred lake where the Gopis of Vrindavan are believed to have come searching for Krishna. Collect holy soil from this spot. Return to Dwarka for overnight stay.
