Day-by-day itinerary

1. D1

   Day 1: Arrival in the Eastern Himalayas

   Travel to Rumtek Monastery above Gangtok, settle into simple monastic accommodation, and attend the evening puja with traditional Tibetan instruments.

2. D2

   Day 2–4: Kagyu Teachings & Practice

   Receive introductory teachings on Mahamudra and the Six Yogas of Naropa, practice shamatha and vipashyana meditation, and observe the monastic debate courtyard in session.

3. D3

   Day 5: Golden Stupa & Monastic Arts

   Visit the 13-foot Golden Stupa containing relics of the 16th Karmapa, explore the monastery's thangka and manuscript collections, and enjoy a scenic walk in the alpine forest.

4. D4

   Day 6: Blessings & Departure

   Morning group meditation, receive a blessing from a senior Khenpo, and depart for Gangtok after a final communal breakfast.
