Day-by-day itinerary

1. D1

   Arrival & Dwarkamai Visit

   Arrive at Shirdi and check into accommodation. Visit Dwarkamai — the mosque where Sai Baba lived for 60 years. See the sacred dhuni (eternal fire) that has been burning since his time, and receive udi (sacred ash) as prasad. Sit in the courtyard where Baba sat with devotees of all faiths. Visit Chavadi, where Baba slept on alternate nights — preserved exactly as it was with his mattress and belongings. Cultural learning: Understand Baba's teaching of 'Shraddha' (faith) and 'Saburi' (patience) — the two pillars of devotion.

2. D2

   Samadhi Darshan & Gurusthan

   Join the early morning Kakad Aarti at 4:30 AM — the most auspicious time for darshan. Enter the Samadhi Mandir built over Baba's final resting place. The white marble tomb is adorned with flowers and the sacred padukas (footprints). The atmosphere is charged with devotion as thousands chant 'Sai Ram' in unison. After darshan, visit Gurusthan — the neem tree under which Baba first appeared. It is believed that burning incense here fulfills wishes. Visit the museum with rare photographs and personal belongings of Baba.

3. D3

   Prasadalaya & Departure

   Partake in the massive free meal (prasad) at the Prasadalaya — one of India's largest community kitchens, serving over 50,000 meals daily. The simple dal-rice meal carries the blessing of Baba's generosity. Purchase books of Baba's teachings and udi packets to distribute to friends and family. Depart with the sacred mantra 'Om Sai Ram' echoing in your heart.
