Flight to Bhairahawa and sacred garden entry
Fly from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa and drive to Lumbini. Enter the Sacred Garden through the East Gate, walking barefoot on the brick pathways. Visit the Maya Devi Temple, marking the exact spot of Buddha's birth, with its ancient nativity sculpture showing Queen Maya Devi grasping a branch. The stone marker indicates the precise birthplace.

Monastery circuit and Ashoka Pillar
Walk the monastery zone, visiting the stunning Thai, Chinese, Burmese, and Nepali monasteries, each reflecting unique Buddhist architectural traditions. Stand before Ashoka's 3rd-century BCE pillar, the oldest archaeological proof of Lumbini's significance. Visit the sacred Puskarini Pond where the infant Buddha was bathed.

Visit the gleaming white World Peace Pagoda built by Japanese Buddhists, symbolizing universal harmony. Sit for a guided meditation session in the garden under ancient bodhi trees.
