1. D1

   Day 1: Kathmandu Durbar Square & Kumari Ghar

   Guided heritage walk through Kathmandu Durbar Square focusing on Kumari Ghar architecture and the history of the Living Goddess. Learn about the 32 perfections selection criteria, the Kal Ratri bravery test, and the tantric installation ritual. If timing permits, observe the Kumari’s daily darshan from the courtyard. Evening lecture on the intersection of Vajrayana Buddhism and Shakta Hinduism in Kumari worship.

2. D2

   Day 2: Valley-Wide Kumari Network & Festivals

   Visit Patan Kumari Ghar and Bhaktapur Kumari temple to understand how multiple Kumaris serve their respective cities. Discuss the psychological, educational, and cultural aspects of the tradition with local cultural experts. If visiting during Indra Jatra or Dashain, witness the chariot procession and public blessings.
