1. D1

   Arrival & Evening Ganga Aarti

   Arrive in Varanasi by afternoon. Check into your accommodation near Godowlia. At dusk (5:30 PM), proceed to Dashashwamedh Ghat for the grand Ganga Aarti — a synchronized ritual of fire, incense, and chanting by young priests. Feel the drumbeats resonate as hundreds of lamps float on the river. Cultural tip: Wear modest clothing; photography is allowed but maintain respectful silence during the mantras.

2. D2

   Morning Ganga Snan & Temple Darshan

   Rise at 4:00 AM for a sacred dip in the Ganges at Assi Ghat. Experience the cool, purifying waters as the city awakens to temple bells. After breakfast, proceed to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple for darshan of the Swayambhu Jyotirlinga. Enter through the security checkpoint, leave shoes outside, and observe the ancient rituals of Abhishekam. Cultural learning: The lingam represents cosmic energy — observe how priests offer bilva leaves, water, and milk. Dress conservatively; avoid leather items.

3. D3

   Sarnath & Departure

   Visit nearby Sarnath where Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment. Explore the Dhamekh Stupa and Ashokan Lion Capital at the museum. This completes a Hindu-Buddhist spiritual loop. Depart by evening with prasad of sacred Ganga water and a rudraksha mala, carrying Shiva's eternal blessing.
