1. D1

   Day 1: Arrival in Hassan & Chennakeshava Temple, Belur

   Arrive in Hassan and drive to Belur. Explore the Chennakeshava Temple's star-shaped platform, gravity pillar, and 42 celestial dancers (madanikas).

2. D2

   Day 2: Hoysaleswara Temple & Halebidu Jain Basadi

   Full day at Hoysaleswara Temple in Halebidu studying its 2,000+ sculptures. Visit the triple Jain Basadi with the 18-foot Parsvanatha statue.

3. D3

   Day 3: Shravanabelagola Monolithic Statue

   Morning climb Vindhyagiri Hill to see the 57-foot monolithic statue of Bahubali (Gommateshwara), one of the largest free-standing statues in the world. Afternoon visit Chandragiri Hill temples.

4. D4

   Day 4: Keshava Temple at Somnathpur & Departure

   Morning visit to the perfectly symmetrical Keshava Temple at Somnathpur. After lunch, depart from Mysuru with a guidebook on Hoysala iconography.
