Sacred lake rituals and meditation
Rise before dawn for the most sacred experience: a ritual dip in the freezing lake water, believed to purify sins accumulated over lifetimes. Perform puja at the small Shiva shrine on the lakeshore. Meditate on the meditation stone where sages have sat for centuries. Walk around the lake, observing the smaller associated lakes that tradition says number 108.
