    Jaipur: Choti Diwali & Palace Illuminations

    Visit Amber Fort in the morning before it transforms for the evening sound-and-light show. Explore the City Palace, still partly inhabited by Jaipur's royal family, to see their private Diwali preparations. Evening at a haveli (merchant's mansion) for a traditional Diwali dinner and fireworks.

    The peak of the festival. Participate in Lakshmi Puja at a local Brahmin home — the precise ritual of inviting the goddess of wealth through mantras, offerings, and lamp arrangements. Walk through the old city as every doorway, window, and rooftop blazes with diyas. The sky erupts in fireworks from every direction.

    Udaipur: Lake of Lights

    Drive to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Evening boat ride on Lake Pichola as the Jag Mandir and City Palace are illuminated by thousands of lamps. Dinner at a lakeside palace hotel with views of the reflection doubling the spectacle.

    Udaipur: Govardhan Puja & Bhai Dooj

    Morning visit to the Eklingji Temple for Annakut — the mountain of food offerings to Krishna. Participate in Bhai Dooj, the final day celebrating sibling bonds. Receive tilak and a protective thread. Afternoon exploration of Udaipur's bazaars for Diwali sweets and miniature paintings.
