Morning arrival and orientation
Meet your guide at 8:00 AM at the stupa's base. Learn about the stupa's symbolism: the dome represents water, the square base earth, the spire fire, the umbrella air, and the void above space. Remove shoes before walking on the raised platform. The scent of butter lamps and juniper incense fills the morning air.
